Cadence ("the App") is developed and operated by Cycling Head Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). We built Cadence with privacy as a core design principle. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Cadence does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. All data you enter into the App stays on your device. We have no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads.
All drink logging data, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate servers that receive, process, or store your data. We cannot access your data, and we do not have the ability to retrieve it.
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration (a Cadence Pro feature), the App will read from and write to Apple HealthKit on your device. This data exchange occurs entirely on your device between Cadence and the Health app. We do not have access to your Apple Health data.
You can enable or disable Apple Health integration at any time in the App's settings or through the Health app on your device. Disabling this feature does not delete any data already written to Apple Health nor does it delete the data already logged or imported into the App.
In accordance with Apple's guidelines, Cadence does not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not share HealthKit data with third parties.
Cadence Pro allows you to export your data as a CSV file and import data from CSV files. These files are processed entirely on your device. We do not receive copies of imported or exported files. What you do with your exported data is your responsibility.
Cadence does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not use cookies or similar technologies.
Cadence does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, with the following exceptions:
Cadence is not directed at children under the age of 18. The App is a drink tracking tool intended for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all Cadence data at any time by deleting the App. Before doing so it is recommended that you export your data as a CSV file and save it in a secure location of your choosing.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
