These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Layout ("the App"), developed and operated by Cycling Head Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a photo collage tool for iPhone and iPad. It lets you arrange up to six photos from your photo library into a square composition, adjust the proportions and framing, and export the result as an image. All processing happens locally on your device.
The App requires access to your photo library to display your photos and build collages from them, and requests permission to add images to your library so that you can save an exported collage. You may grant full or limited access, and may revoke access at any time in your device's Settings. Without photo access, the App cannot function.
You retain all rights to the photos you use and the collages you create. We claim no ownership of, and no license to, your content. Your photos are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any photo you place in a collage, and for how you use, share, or publish the collages you create. Do not use the App to create or distribute material that infringes another person's rights, or that is unlawful.
Exporting hands the finished image to the iOS share sheet; saving, sending, or otherwise distributing it is your action, not ours. The App does not upload, publish, or retain exported collages. Collages are held in memory only until you export or discard them, so an unexported collage is lost if the App is closed.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The App is free to use, and every feature is available without payment. The App offers optional one-time "tip" purchases as a way to support development. Tips unlock no features, content, or functionality. They are consumable purchases, are not refundable by us, and are not restorable across devices. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Cycling Head Studios and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App. This does not affect your ownership of your own photos and collages.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that exported images will be free from visual artifacts or loss of quality.
You are responsible for backing up any photos or collages you wish to retain.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cycling Head Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, collages, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
