StrobeTuner ("the App") is developed and operated by Cycling Head Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). We built StrobeTuner with privacy as a core design principle. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
StrobeTuner does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. The App does not record audio. We have no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads.
StrobeTuner requires microphone access to detect the pitch of your instrument. Audio from the microphone is processed entirely on your device in real time for pitch analysis. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. No audio data leaves your device at any time.
You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device's Settings. Without microphone access, the App will not be able to detect pitch.
The StrobeTuner Apple Watch app uses the watch's built-in microphone for pitch detection. The same privacy protections apply: audio is processed on-device in real time and is never recorded or transmitted.
StrobeTuner stores only your preferences and settings (such as reference pitch) locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, process, or store your data. We cannot access your data, and we do not have the ability to retrieve it.
StrobeTuner does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not use cookies or similar technologies.
StrobeTuner does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, with the following exception:
StrobeTuner does not collect information from users of any age. The App is suitable for all ages and does not require or collect personal information.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all StrobeTuner data at any time by deleting the App.
